It is snowing hard

Yup, Pittsburgh got flurry about 10 days ago, but not until today did we see real snow, a big one, a storm. The temperature the day before yesterday was 15F, or -9C, and it’s been like that since. Imagine sticking your own head inside the freezer every minute of the day. People back in Vietnam, or even back in California, might think this is unbearably cold, but it is actually not as bad as it looks. Very thick clothes, gloves, and some kind of warm cap, and you are good to go. At least, it is still warm enough for me to take off my gloves, grab my iphone, and take pictures. When Christmas comes though, as the temperature drops below 0F, or about -17C, and I got bored with the monotonously white surroundings, the picture taking would be replaced by “cursing the cold” stuffs. Until then, shoot away.

See the bike track there ? People still ride their bikes to school in this treacherously slippery condition. (Even I have to remind myself to walk slowly.) This is where your health insurance money is used, I guess. Other pix in school:
